Senior Manager, Compensation

Responsibilities
Manages the design and communication of compensation structures that reflect industry standards and competitive market practices in order to develop and retain talent
Leads and support the annual compensation planning cycle(s) or either a client area or for the enterprise in a project management capacity
Regular reviews organizational charts, job descriptions and associated materials to provide best in class consulting to internal HR clients
Adapts compensation models and plans for clients, taking into account factors such as productivity, quality metrics, patient satisfaction, and specialty-specific considerations
Develops actionable insights to ensure pay fairness across different job roles and demographic groups, addressing any disparities that may exist in order to ensure fairness and mitigate legal or reputational risks
Models, informs and recommends changes to or additions of incentive programs that motivate and reward staff while driving outcomes
Creates policies and programs that address shift differentials, overtime pay, and other compensation considerations specific to the organization's scheduling and work patterns
Conducts routine market research and analysis to understand industry trends and benchmark the organization's compensation programs against others
Aligns compensation and benefits strategies and communicating total rewards packages effectively to employees
Qualification
Required
7+ years of compensation experience OR a combination of experience in human resources/finance
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply to business needs
Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve business issues through solution-oriented projects
Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Preferred
Demonstrated customer service acumen
Ability to perform in a high-pressure environment and/or crisis situation and render good decisions to resolve the problems
Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task
Demonstrated ability to achieve results through team efforts
Willingness to challenge established practices and draw relevant conclusions
Ability to develop, read, analyze, and interpret complex documents or spreadsheets
Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
