Legal Personnel Assistant
Responsibilities
Support annual and mid-cycle evaluation processes for associates and staff attorneys
Assist with the annual attorney promotion process, including tracking and administrative coordination
Provide onboarding support for lateral and entry-level associate and staff attorney hires
Track attorney leaves of absence and respond to policy-related questions and inquiries
Support attorney departure processes, including coordinating exit interviews and maintaining records
Prepare documentation related to attorney status changes (arrivals, departures, leaves, etc.) and produce weekly reports for Talent leadership
Prepare and send verifications of employment in accordance with internal guidelines
Coordinate with attorneys, Talent team members, and other departments on data requests and policy inquiries
Help maintain, audit, and organize departmental documents, intranet pages, and personnel filing systems
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required or equivalent relevant experience
Minimum of one (1) year of administrative support experience, ideally within a professional services, corporate, or law firm environment
Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite (or related software)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Collaborative approach with the ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of personnel
Sound judgment and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Flexible, resourceful, and solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Reliable, dependable, and able to work additional hours as needed
Preferred
Experience working with a virtual desktop platform is a plus
