Team Leader, SSG Fox Suicide Prevention

The Team Leader for Military Services will oversee day-to-day operations of the SSG Fox Suicide Prevention Grant, supervise staff, ensure compliance with grant deliverables, and coordinate outreach and navigation services for Veterans and their families.

Responsibilities
Lead daily operations of the SSG Fox Suicide Prevention Grant program
Ensure program activities align with grant requirements, timelines, and performance metrics
Support integration of suicide prevention services across Centerstone’s Military Services
Serve on the Military Services operations team to align grant activities with broader organizational strategy
Directly supervise Veteran Care Navigators, Clinical Care Coordinators, and Peer Mentors
Oversee referral triage, case conferencing, documentation review, training compliance, and productivity management
Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to staff
Collaborate with clinical teams, community partners, and stakeholders to enhance outreach and engagement
Implement outreach strategies to identify and connect Veterans and families to services
Represent the program in community forums and outreach events
Ensure compliance with all SSG Fox grant guidelines and reporting requirements
Monitor program performance metrics and submit timely reports to stakeholders
Maintain accurate documentation of program activities and outcomes
Assist with program budget development and monitoring
Track expenses, analyze variances, and collaborate with leadership and finance teams
Act as the liaison between Centerstone Military Services and the VA Fox team to ensure seamless coordination
Maintain strong working relationships with VA facilities, community providers, and other stakeholders
Facilitate warm hand-offs and care coordination for Veterans at risk of suicide
Expand and maintain a network of community linkages to support program participants
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field required
Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of leadership experience may be considered
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, virtual, and in-person)
Growth mindset with ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems
Highly accountable, professional leader with strong listening and decision-making skills
Self-motivated with ability to set and achieve short- and long-term goals
Skilled at catalyzing change and fostering collaboration in team settings
Demonstrates sound clinical judgment in decision-making regarding consumer needs
Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, CRM platforms, Zoom, Adobe, and basic data analysis/statistics
Ability to leverage technology for program management, reporting, and communication
Preferred
Supervisory experience preferred
Experience providing behavioral health services within the military community strongly desired
Veteran status preferred
