Responsibilities
Functional and characterization testing of post-silicon SoCs for high-performance AI and machine learning solutions
Skilled use of standard lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, meters, power supplies, and other measurement instruments
Develop validation test plans, perform data analysis, and generate validation reports for both analog and digital macros
Work independently and provide technical direction for junior team members
Bring up validation test boards, bench setups, and independently collect data and debug issues
Direct and/or make necessary changes to hardware boards and test setups to correct issues quickly and minimize the validation cycle time
Extensive experience in post silicon validation, able to automate the validation process to reduce the overall validation cycle time
Qualification
Required
12+ years experience in post-silicon validation of mixed signal SOCs
Broad experience validating both analog and digital circuits, good knowledge of microcontroller architecture
Solid understanding of SOC infrastructure involving Power-Management, clock distribution, and emulation
Excellent engineering documentation skills, verbal communication, and presentation skills
Self-motivated team player who can work with various cross-functional groups across different sites
Experience with a standard scripting language –Python/Perl/TCL/etc
Experience in LabView and TestStand
Well organized, methodical, and detail oriented
Preferred
Experience using emulation platforms to accelerate silicon validation a plus
MSEE/MSCE preferred from an accredited engineering school
