Administrative Assistant-- Office Building Property Management
Lamar Companies is a full-service, privately held, real estate investment company headquartered in New Jersey. They are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of a Class A office building in Stamford, Connecticut, involving tenant and vendor relations, financial reporting, and compliance support.

Responsibilities
Serve as landlord’s representative with tenants, contractors, and clients to foster and maintain positive, professional, responsive, and cooperative relationships
Respond to tenant needs and resolve problems promptly in accordance with lease requirements
Track and review property inspections completed by the Engineering team to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations and submit such reports to the Risk Manager
Assist with financial reporting, and accounts payable/receivable
Support lease administration and compliance, including accurate understanding of leases and other property documents (e.g., REAS, OEAS, Maintenance and Service Agreements, Surveys)
Communicate consistently and clearly with the property management team (Regional Property Manager, Senior Building Engineer, and Junior Building Engineer)
Participate in collection of COIs/incident reporting
Assist and participate in marketing and building promotions
Be available for after‑hours emergencies
Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager and Asset Manager/EVP
Qualification
Required
2–3 years of administrative assistance experience
Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel)
Ability to manage tenant and vendor relations
Coordinate maintenance and capital projects
Assist with budgeting and financial reporting
Support compliance across the property
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Detail oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of lease administration, tenant relations, operating budgets, recoveries and recharges, financial and other reporting, maintenance; contracts and contractor management, tenant improvements, and capital projects
Professionalism and discretion
Valid driver's license
Preferred
Experience in property management of a commercial building
Familiarity with Axis/Angus building portal
Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field
