They are seeking a Doorperson to facilitate guest entry, verify reservations, and maintain a secure and welcoming environment in a high-volume nightclub atmosphere.

Remain alert for any suspicious persons or activities

React professionally and rationally in emergency and pressure situations

Identify intoxicated, disorderly, or insubordinate guests and reports them to Security

Communicate professionally with all management from Restaurant/Lounge

Assist all Guests with entry to the venue

Maintain professionalism at the workplace and with co-workers and patrons

Attentive to all company related events and upcoming venues and changes

Maintain a proper and professional appearance and attitude

Maintain and promotes a friendly atmosphere for customers and co-workers

Provide customers with information and directions

Inform management of any complaints, comments, or incidents

Perform all prior arrangements to be ready to start at scheduled in time and completes all necessary duties by end of shift

Accurately assess group sizes at the doors, collect ID’s and form of payment, and hand out tickets accordingly Constantly pays attention to surroundings and to customers

Assist and/ or completes additional tasks as assigned

Required

Min 1-year previous doorperson experience or equivalent related Tao Group Hospitality experience required

Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant/nightclub/lounge required

Ability to write, read, and verbally communicate

Must have good positive energy throughout the day

Must be able to print legibly for Team Members, management, and guests to read

Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

Must be able to move quickly

Must be able to push and lift up to 75 lbs. with or without assistance

Work in an environment that is subject to varying levels of noise, crowds, and smoke, the severity of which depends upon the guest volume

May work extended hours irregular shifts, evening and/or weekend shifts, and holiday work may be required

Exposure to cleaning materials

Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Company standards

Must be effective as part of a team; ability to interact with internal and external customers, managers, and co-workers in a professional, courteous manner

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Ability to handle a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment
