Responsibilities
Apply engineering principles to improve manufacturing processes and products
Develop and maintain process documentation and instruction sheets
Support daily production meetings and drive engineering actions to improve JPH and FTT
Lead process audits and ensure compliance with Vehicle Operations guidelines
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers on tooling improvements, layouts, and prototype machining
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
2+ years of related engineering experience
Strong problem-solving skills (8D, 5Why) and familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
Experience with FMEA, PPAP, and ergonomic analysis
Preferred
Knowledge of Lean tools (5S, Kanban, Poka-yoke, Value Stream Mapping)
Experience with DMAIC, DMADV, TQM, and Kaizen methods
Ability to manage tooling projects and coordinate with external suppliers
