Responsibilities
Perform structural analysis of buildings, miscellaneous structures, systems, and components
Develop or review engineering calculations using Mathcad software
Prepare engineering design sketches as required in support of tasks a) and b)
Provide technical consultation in support of tasks a), b) and c) via team meetings, phone calls, e-mails, or other mutually agreed-upon medium
Utilize Smart Plant Foundation for assignment of, and for conducting reviews
Provide limited design activities
Attend the weekly Engineering programs meeting via Microsoft Teams
Qualification
Required
BS degree in Structural Engineering
Minimum of 7 years of experience in structural engineering
Minimum of 1 year experience in the nuclear industry
Hanford specific experience at Tank Farms
Knowledgeable of the engineering processes at Tank Farms
Ability to obtain/maintain the Engineering Technical Staff and Engineering Discipline Lead qualification cards
Experience in Smart Plant Foundation
Preferred
Experience with Sci Forma Project Management software
