Solar/EV Charging - Project Manager

Responsibilities

Review project estimates and preliminary designs to establish time frame/schedule, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project
Collaborate with internal and external project stakeholders to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
Coordinate activities of project to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
Review status reports prepared by project personnel and coordinate schedules or plans as required
Coordinate with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
Serve as the primary liaison for Sales Team, Project Engineer, Customers, Internal and External Resources, and Management regarding project related items
Establish safety plans and goals
Coordinate and document quotes and proposals with vendors. Procure equipment for projects and work with vendors and subcontractors to coordinate timely deliveries of equipment
Obtain, review, and approve subcontractor scopes of work and quotes. Work with internal team members to have contracts written and executed
Assist in equipment selection and manage the design and engineering of the project
Facilitate the processing of all DSA paperwork along with the project architect
Work with management on monthly budget management, project forecasting, project billing and collections
Utilize the financial system for forecasting, revenue projections and monthly billings
Assist in AR collections
Adhere to the SitelogIQ Project Management Goals and Objectives
Organize logistics and travel to and from client sites throughout United States
Coordinate several contracts of varying sizes while maintaining customer expectations and working effectively and efficiently
Coordinates project activities with government regulatory agencies as needed
Potential participation in association and industry events to learn, develop, and educate team members
Coordinate with internal operations team and external partners to provide consistent customer service and to provide feedback supporting continuous improvement of the program
Prepare project reports for Management, clients, or others
Any other job duties assigned

Required

Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management or relevant field experience. May be substituted for 2 years of experience
Minimum of 3 Years' Experience as a Project Manager
Ability to read plans and specs
Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
Time management and organization skills
Customer focused mentality
Ability to fulfill many roles as needed for the growth of the company
Strong written and oral communication skills
Proficient and using MS Office Suite of products, including MS Project and Excel, as well as Web based and smartphone applications
Positive – collaborative team player
Self-Starter and capable of working remotely with minimal management in a flexible and changing work environment

Preferred

PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) strongly preferred
Safety-minded; familiarity with OSHA and general industry safety requirements, OSHA 30 Certification strongly preferred
Experience managing multi-trade projects over $2M and working under or as a General Contractor is preferred
