They are seeking an Associate Account Manager to build relationships with customers and develop sales plans to meet goals after completing a multi-month training program.

Responsibilities

You will build relationships with the world's producers and work in partnership with customers, systems integrators, and industry partners to solve challenges in the industry
You will develop and implement sales plans to meet annual sales goals and grow market share
You will build relationships at assigned accounts and growing customer spend with Rockwell Automation
You will work with customers exclusively through digital platforms (email, LinkedIn, phone, and video conferencing)
After completion of the training program, are placed in one of our field sales offices across North America

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
A valid US drivers license

Preferred

3.0 cumulative GPA
Previous intern experience with Rockwell Automation, our Partner Network, or our customer
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Engineering Sales, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Supply Chain, or other similar, technical degrees (graduating in December 2025 or Spring 2026, or within the past 3 years from Spring 2026)
Previous co-op or intern experience in manufacturing, product marketing, or customer-facing role
Must be location flexible
Met at an on-campus event or national conference
Experience and knowledge with technical skills and/or domains
You quickly understand complicated subjects and enjoy explaining them in a straightforward way
You recognize customer needs and provide insights in proposing solutions and facilitating change
You can balance competing demands for your time, ensuring partner expectations are managed
You request constructive feedback
You seek out and embrace relevant perspectives when assessing a situation or making a decision; you show clear understanding of multiple viewpoints
You can distill information from different data sources to tell the 'story' behind it and make recommendations for next steps
