Responsibilities

Supervise the Operational Care Center Team whilst ensuring operational excellence through high-quality shipment/process management

Monitor operational performance and increase data and execution quality according to internal requirements

Resolve problems escalated by a team member or any other stakeholder as the first level escalation contact point

Collaborate with all operational/customer care teams, partners/suppliers, gateway, warehouse, customs teams, revenue care, and external parties as needed

Contribute as a process owner to continuous improvements of processes and controls for lean and cost-efficient operation

Optimize operations and all systems utilization, working closely with the Optimization Team, to ensure the highest levels of productivity within the organization

Support airfreight procurement and carrier/partner relationship management

Partner with the Customer Service and Key Account Teams to gain specialized customer specific knowledge and to receive first-hand feedback about the department's operational execution

Support team development through new/existing customers and during account implementation

Qualification

Freight Forwarding experienceAir logistics knowledgeLeadership experienceProblem solvingTeam building skillsTime managementOrganizational skills

Required

2+ years of Freight Forwarding/Logistics operations experience required

Previous leadership experience directly managing a team of operators

Proficient in problem solving, organization, time management, and team building skills in a dynamic environment

Preferred

Specifically, air logistics with both import/export regulations is highly preferred
