RF Communications Engineering IPT Lead
Lunar Outpost is an industry leader in space robotics and planetary vehicles, dedicated to creating a permanent presence in space. They are seeking a talented, experienced RF Communications Engineer to manage all communications systems for the LTV vehicle including Direct to Earth, Relay to Earth, and lunar surface communications.

Responsibilities
Design state-of-the-art RF communication systems for satellites and rover systems
Manage and integrate satellite and rover systems to meet rigorous requirements
Develop and validate complex antenna/RF designs with trade studies, modeling, and simulation
Build and test RF systems, including antenna/payload communications subsystem
Create test plans, specifying hardware and software, while adhering to industry standards and regulations
Support business development with customer solutions and engagement
Qualification
Required
Understanding of space system requirements and the ability to pull together complex systems to meet those requirements
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
Experience in the hands-on build and testing of RF systems, including using and building test racks
Ability to define and conduct tests to validate antenna and RF designs against mission requirements
Experience in creating detailed test plans, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet cost and regulatory standards
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering or a related field
Excellent management skills and experience with management software
Experience developing and managing vendor requirements and specifications
Self-motivated, focused, and driven to meet critical deadlines
Excellent organization and time management skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
