Office Assistant 2 (NY HELPS)
New York State Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation is seeking an Office Assistant 2 to support various clerical and administrative functions. The role involves designing clerical processing procedures, preparing reports, responding to inquiries, and coordinating meetings and events.

Responsibilities
Design clerical processing procedures
Gather, compile, and prepare data from manual or automated files and other sources for various reports, publications, records, or other external or internal communications
Respond to questions concerning the operation of the unit or program area
Prepare responses to correspondence
Resolve work problems
Review forms and applications and make appropriate determinations
Coordinate arrangements for meetings, courses, and other gatherings arrange for rooms, take attendance, and ensure that appropriate materials and equipment are available
Qualification
Required
One (1) year of clerical experience
Candidate must possess and maintain a valid driver's license that allows the candidate to legally operate a motor vehicle in New York State as a term and condition of employment
Candidates must have experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
