Responsibilities
Work with data streaming and batch processing, including real-time platforms such as Kafka
Support customer data intake, data quality, and governance initiatives
Execute SQL queries and create reports using Tableau, Power BI, or MicroStrategy
Write and execute test scripts, simple test cases, and conduct manual data quality testing
Perform data ingestion, cleaning, and validation
Collaborate with teams on process, controls, and governance, providing clear communication and documentation
Support AI-related projects with a foundational understanding of AI concepts and terminology
Ensure awareness of data privacy regulations in handling customer data
Qualification
Required
Prior experience as a developer, with transition into a data analyst or reporting-focused role
Hands-on experience with SQL and reporting/visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy)
Basic understanding of AI concepts and data processing buzzwords
Knowledge of real-time data platforms (Kafka) and batch processing pipelines
Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to proactively ask questions
Familiarity with data privacy regulations and governance processes
Preferred
Self-starter who can work independently and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to manage processes, controls, and data governance while supporting technical execution
