Responsibilities
Develop and implement supplier quality standards and metrics to ensure compliance with engineering and customer requirements
Lead supplier audits and qualification processes, collaborating with procurement and engineering teams to approve new suppliers
Monitor supplier performance through data analysis, identify trends, and drive corrective and preventive actions
Resolve supplier-related quality issues, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective measures
Partner with internal teams (Engineering, Production, Procurement) to address quality concerns and support product reliability
Prepare and present supplier quality reports and KPIs to leadership
Manage and coach Quality Analysts, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and professional development
Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluate performance of direct reports
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
5+ years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or quality systems management
2+ years in a leadership role
Strong understanding of quality management systems and supplier quality principles
Ability to lead audits and assess supplier compliance
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Supplier Quality Professional (CSQP)
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
Experience with ISO 9001, auditing, and statistical process control
