Responsibilities
Assemble parts following bills of materials, drawings and written work instructions
Performs visual inspection and/or testing on assembled components
Bolts, clips, screws, or otherwise fasten parts together
Operates hydraulic presses, electric or pneumatic screwdrivers and other mechanical assembly aids
Works at different workstations as production needs require
Perform other functions including packing finished product and assembly of product kits
Works on different models of actuators and/or Electronic Assemblies
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience reading and following mechanical drawings to assemble products
Comfortable using basic hand tools such as wrenches, hex keys and screwdrivers
Should be able to read and understand English
Basic math skills required
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit
The employee must rarely move up to 25 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
Employee is able to alternate sitting and standing based upon what is comfortable to them
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
