Responsibilities
Partner with management to ensure HR strategies support business objectives and drive organizational success
Advise management on people-related matters to foster an engaged, effective workforce
Oversee sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding to attract and integrate top talent
Identify and address workforce challenges, promoting a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and employee satisfaction
Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
Manage onboarding, offboarding, payroll changes, benefits administration, and HR system updates, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Support payroll, benefits, employee engagement, training, and development initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification preferred
Minimum of 7 years in HR with a focus on talent acquisition and employee relations; experience in a unionized manufacturing environment preferred
Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, payroll, benefits, health, and safety regulations
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion, professionalism, and ethical judgment
Strong planning, time management, and decision-making skills
Proficiency with Microsoft products and analyzing business data and metrics
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Proven ability to provide effective customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Exceptional organizational and attention-to-detail skills in a high-volume, multitasking environment
Preferred
HR certification preferred
Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment preferred
Experience with ADP Workforce Now is a plus
