Responsibilities
Work with ambiguous direction to create deliverables that standardize work spaces and designs across a large network of fulfillment operations
Innovate with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems including robotics and mechatronics across 100+ new fulfillment and logistics centers that are being built each year
Collaboration with internal teams to generate high-quality, cost-effective solutions in very short periods of time
Manage multiple projects and tasks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines, or experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround
Experience communicating and delivering presentations to customers, stakeholders, and/or teammates
1 year of AutoCAD experience
Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Revit and/or Factory Design Utilities, Navisworks Manage
Preferred
2+ years of design experience
Experience completing complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, or experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
Experience of automated equipment including packaging machinery, sortation and conveyor systems
Proficiency with AutoCAD
Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and Factory Design Utilities
