Responsibilities

Manage a team of engineers across multiple disciplines, including chemical manufacturing engineers, controls engineers, and maintenance engineers
Drive initiatives to develop engineering talent, foster innovation, and ensure continuous improvement in technical capabilities
Lead strategic planning, development and execution to drive growth and improvements in SQDC. Ensure alignment of resources, policies, and initiatives to achieve operational excellence and organizational objectives
Use high levels of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering
Interface with other functions to ensure effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, and functional processes
Communicate difficult concepts and influence others’ perspectives on key topics. Guide others to consider alternative viewpoints

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 5 years of previous Engineering Management experience required

Preferred

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Process Safety Management (PSM) manufacturing required
Proven ability to lead and inspire multi-disciplinary teams, drive alignment across functions, and influence stakeholders at all levels to achieve strategic objectives
Analytical mindset with expertise in structured methodologies such as RCA, DMAIC, or FMEA to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and implement sustainable solutions
Builds strong relationships across engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality to ensure seamless execution of programs and initiatives
Demonstrated success in leading complex programs or projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and influence decisions across diverse audiences
Passionate about driving innovation and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to enhance organizational performance and efficiency
