Responsibilities
Apply a higher level of knowledge and skills in hardware assembly, troubleshooting, and repair while executing manufacturing operations
Utilize reading and comprehension skills to follow documented build instructions and interpret technical documentation such as mechanical drawings, work instructions, building plans, and electrical schematics
Improve work area safety and efficiency through regular auditing and constant scrutiny
Handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
Be an active leader in 5S and continuous improvement activities. Provide feedback on ways to improve the building process
Support computer-based aspects of the role, including completing daily transactions in computer production systems (MES, ERP) and assisting in daily and weekly reporting on production progress, blockers, risks, and needs
Perform Work Verifications (Second Set of Eyes) for peer and subordinate technicians
Assist in training new operators and provide ongoing support as required
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Understanding of the product life cycle (NPI to scaled production), LEAN manufacturing principles, and change management (ECOs)
The ability to interpret technical documentation (mechanical drawings, work instructions, building plans, equipment specs, electrical schematics, etc.)
Extremely reliable, organized, and detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities
