Responsibilities
Lead executive team members on creating future data center architecture concepts and designs
Investigate renewable power generation and storage technologies, and find best ways to implement them
Create and maintain a plan of record for electrical single-line and layouts that will help quick implementation in the field
Develop architecture and products which will form the reference design for Google data centers
Implement solutions that lead to fast, cost effective construction and delivery
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
12 years of experience in technical leadership with industrial power system design, development, and testing, including data centers
Preferred
Experience with electrical distribution, energy storage, and electrical generation technologies, including other microgrid resources
Experience with high voltage, medium voltage, and low voltage systems
Understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC) and building codes
Ability to solve technical problems across the electrical engineering and controls domain
