HUMAN RESOURCES REPRESENTATIVE
The Plastek Group is a global plastics injection molding manufacturer that specializes in consumer packaging for large companies. They are seeking a full-time Corporate Human Resources Representative to join their HR team, responsible for recruitment initiatives, employee onboarding, and day-to-day HR duties.

Responsibilities
Must be outgoing, personable, and have an ability and desire to work with people of all backgrounds
Address employee questions and concerns regarding benefits: Health insurance, 401(k), attendance, etc
Onboard new employees
Assist with sourcing, screening and interviewing new applicants
Schedule new hire physicals/drug screens, background checks and new hire paperwork
Assist with employee engagement events including coordination, communication and set-up
Administer employee benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), life insurance, etc
Carry out open enrollments
Assist employees and applicants with general questions and concerns
Monitor employee attendance and timekeeping in UKG
Human Resources Information System operation & new employee entry
Manage confidential documents
Assist in workplace investigations
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and statues including labor laws and other governmental regulations that are applicable to the company. Providing timely reporting and information to the HR Manager
Actively participate in meetings when required
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
2+ years formal training or equivalent experience
Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work independently with minimum oversight
Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel and Power Point
Possess computer skills for programming & data entry
Location: Erie, PA (Required)
Work authorization: United States (Required)
Preferred
Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
Comprehensive understanding of Federal and State Employment regulations – FLSA, FMLA, ADA, etc
Human Resources: 2 years (Preferred)
