The Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) is seeking an innovative and experienced leader for the position of Director, Governance, Research and Integrated Data. This role involves planning, organizing, coordinating, and directing the work of the Governance, Research, and Integrated Data division, overseeing the analysis and implementation of evidence through research and integrated data systems.

Plans, organizes, coordinates, and directs the work of the Governance, Research, and Integrated Data (GRID) division

Oversees the analysis, design, development, implementation, and use of evidence through research, evaluation and integrated data systems

Guides efforts to enhancing efficiency and reducing redundancy in systems used across LACOE

Required

A bachelor's degree in social or behavioral sciences, data science, business administration, public administration or other fields closely related to the job requirements of this class from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation

Five years of experience in planning, developing, and implementing data initiatives, research, and continuous improvement work in a public agency, including three years of experience leading or managing multi-disciplinary teams

Preferred

A master's degree in social or behavioral sciences, data science, business, administration, public administration, or other closely related fields is preferred

A valid California driver's license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to provide transportation between job sites may be required
