Electronics Machine Operator - 2nd shift

Responsibilities
Operate, set up, and troubleshoot automated and semi-automated machinery used in the assembly and testing of electronic components
Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality and production efficiency
Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
Load and unload materials and components into machines, ensuring correct placement and orientation
Conduct in-process inspections and quality checks using precision measuring instruments to verify product specifications
Record production data, including quantities produced, defects, and machine performance, in accordance with established procedures
Identify and report equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or safety concerns to supervisory personnel
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles
Follow all safety regulations and company policies, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
1+ year of experience operating manufacturing machinery, preferably in an electronics or precision manufacturing environment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions
Basic computer proficiency for data entry and system navigation
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds regularly
Must be able to work the 2nd shift (e.g., typically afternoon/evening hours)
Strong commitment to safety and quality
Preferred
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, waste reduction)
