Assistant Disciplinary Counsel
The Supreme Court of Ohio is seeking an Assistant Disciplinary Counsel to investigate and prosecute ethical misconduct among legal professionals. This role involves managing a caseload, representing the Disciplinary Counsel in hearings, and educating the legal community through outreach initiatives.

Responsibilities
The Assistant Disciplinary Counsel will be responsible for investigating and prosecuting lawyers, judges, and magistrates accused of ethical misconduct, and individuals alleged to have engaged in the unauthorized practice of law
The Assistant Disciplinary Counsel will manage an active caseload, represent Disciplinary Counsel in hearings before the Board of Professional Conduct and the Board on the Unauthorized Practice of Law, and argue objections before the Supreme Court of Ohio
The Assistant Disciplinary Counsel will assist in educating the bench and bar through CLE presentations, training sessions, and other outreach initiatives
Qualification
Required
An attorney registered as active and in good standing in Ohio or another state
A minimum of seven years' experience as a practicing lawyer
Proven success as a courtroom litigator
A command of the Rules of Evidence
A strong understanding of the Rules of Professional Conduct
A strong understanding of the Code of Judicial Conduct
A strong understanding of the Rules for the Government of the Bar
