Onsite IT Support Technician

Confidential is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Support professional to join their team. The Onsite IT Support Technician will provide onsite technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for clients, ensuring client satisfaction through effective service.

Responsibilities

Perform onsite troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs for network, hardware, and software issues
Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware and software, including workstations, servers, printers, and networking equipment
Collaborate with the remote support team to ensure seamless service for clients
Manage and document service requests, resolutions, and other interactions in our ticketing system
Provide excellent customer service, communicate effectively with clients, and set realistic expectations for issue resolution
Conduct routine maintenance and system upgrades as required
Educate clients on best practices and assist with end-user training on essential IT tasks
Stay current with industry developments and maintain relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+)

Required

2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar field service role, preferably within an MSP environment
Familiarity with Windows and Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and common business software applications
Strong knowledge of network configurations, routers, switches, and firewalls
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude
Ability to work independently and manage multiple onsite visits daily
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to client sites in the Miami area

Preferred

Knowledge of cloud-based solutions and remote monitoring/management tools
