Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for IT systems

Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, install and troubleshoot software, and maintain system integrity

Identify, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues while supporting system performance improvements

Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support and escalate issues when necessary

Conduct system capacity analysis, configuration documentation, and optimization activities

Required

A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional system administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree

Level 1: Five (5) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government. A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional system administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree totaling ten (10) years

Level 2: Ten (10) years of experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree totaling fifteen (15) years

Level 3: Fifteen (15) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government. A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree totaling twenty (20) years

A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required
