Consumer Services
Responsibilities
Pick up all doors and parts from warehouse
Install new garage doors for residential customers
Remove existing door and mechanical parts
Replace worn or broken door parts using tools
Assemble mechanical parts
Install springs, sections, slats, and hardware
Run wiring to connect equipment
Lubricate and test mechanical parts for proper functioning
Educate customers on upgraded parts and services and ensure satisfaction
Document activities related to installations
Dispose of uninstalled garage doors and parts if applicable
Qualification
Required
$10K Sign on Bonus for candidates currently employed as garage door installer by a reputable company
a minimum of 1 year of garage door installation REQUIRED
You've mastered your craft, AND are still open to learn
You deliver quality work, and take pride in no “call backs”
Your peers describe you as reliable and trustworthy
You move fast, you're always busy and no task is too small or too big
You are self-motivated, and you are looking for a 6 figure income
You have a minimum of one year as an installer (preferably more)
Be nice! I know, we shouldn't have to say that, but we mean it
Able to bend, climb, kneel and stand for long periods
Physically able to lift 75lbs, and lift garage door panels above your head
Able to stand on a ladder
Expertise with power tools and hand tools
Valid driver's license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test (not including THC) and criminal background check
Knowledge of basic software such as navigation apps, Google etc as well as tablet and computer use
1+ years as experienced garage door installer required
Professional appearance
Employment requires current eligibility to legally work in the United States
