Responsibilities

Manage budget and department variances

Ensure departmental guidelines, policies and procedures are current and adhered to by staff. Includes maintaining regulatory compliance

Oversee department staffing and turnover, ensuring staffing needs are adequate

Oversee supervision of staff, conduct performance and salary reviews

Assist with the development of cost efficient and profitable strategies

Monitor efficiency and effectiveness of assigned department(s), KPI’s, processes and/or tasks through appropriate reporting mechanisms

Identify process improvements and coordinate implementation

Work in coordination with other departments to achieve division goals

Conduct tasks in a manner that complies with all consumer protection regulations and treats consumers fairly

Respond to audits and data requests related to examiner questions, requests, and reviews. Support responses to internal audits and regulatory exams

Assist in the management and oversight of vendor partnerships as applicable

Develop, present, and implement strategic recommendations & business initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Data Science, Analytics, or related fields such as Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, or Business Administration

Proficiency in SQL and/or SAS (or equivalent languages such as Python or R) is required
