The Field Service Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality of processes and products by performing customer field audits, inspections, tests, and troubleshooting inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

Performing routine maintenance on USP owned equipment

Troubleshooting equipment like pumps, VFDs, electrical circuits, and electronic instruments

Utilizing office software to order parts, generate service reports, book travel accommodations, update equipment documentation, schedule workload in an effect and timely manner, all in accordance with USP/Veralto policies

Responding to emergency and service requests

Supporting installation and demobilization of USP owned equipment

Performing routine site clean-up and upkeep

Utilizing office software to complete routine training

Supporting other regions occasionally

Required

High school diploma required

Minimum 5 years' experience in field equipment service, chemical pump service and maintenance

Proficient in: Chemical metering/industrial chemical pump repair and maintenance; Plumbing installation and repair (including PVC and stainless-steel tubing); 120/208 vac single and three phase electrical circuits; Electrical troubleshooting tools

Knowledge of 4-20 mA loops and digital/discrete signal loops

Fundamental understanding of the following instrumentation: flowmeters, level sensors, VFDs, pressure transducers, RTDs, thermocouples, and similar field instrumentation

Read and understand electrical schematics, P&IDs, Process flow diagrams, BOMs and other associated engineering and installation documentation
