Responsibilities

Provide essential leadership in the creation and maintenance of a positive and collaborative working environment where all Intensive Care Coordination (ICC) staff and enrolled youth and their families feel respected and supported
Maintains a caseload of ICC clients
Provide clinical and administrative supervision for clinical staff
Provide clinical supervision for professional licensure candidates
Utilizing the high-fidelity wraparound (HFW) framework, conducting comprehensive assessments, including ASAM Criteria and DLA-20, including formulating diagnoses
Developing and implementing ICC treatment plans to promote progress of clients
Ensuring program compliance with maintaining clinical documentation in Electronic Health Record according to agency, Medicaid, MCO and licensure policies and procedures
Provides crisis intervention services
Provides case consultation of crisis intervention services for supervisees or other Therapist II’s
Write, revise, and distribute team plans of care for each team meeting and FAPT reports as needed
Documentation of all services, contacts and attempted contact with clients, their family and collaterals
Attend all mandatory county and state trainings on ICC and High-Fidelity Wraparound, to include refresher trainings. Participate in individual and group ICC coaching, as required
Carry an after-hours work phone and provide telephonic and, at times, face-to-face after-hours support to youth and families

Required

Master's Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related behavioral science field
4 years of direct, clinical experience in providing children's mental health services to children with a mental health diagnosis (This is a requirement of this service)
2-3 years of experience providing services to children, adolescents, and families with issues related to mental health, substance use, and co-occurring in a community-based setting
1-2 years of professional-level supervisory experience
Candidate must be licensed in Virginia as an LPC or LCSW
Must complete training in the national model of High-Fidelity Wraparound as required for supervisors and management/administrators
Must possess a valid driver's license
Must pass DMV record check
Must pass TB test
Must pass and maintain first aid and CPR certification
Offer of employment is contingent upon the candidate passing a fingerprint-based National Criminal History Record Check
Child Protective Services Requirements: Effective 1999, mandated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services 12VA35-105-400 rules and Regulations for Licensing Providers by the Department of Behavioral Health and Development Services related to Criminal Registry Checks, a search of the registry of founded complaints of child abuse and neglected maintained by the Department of Social Services

Preferred

Experience providing direct clinical services to youth and families with complex mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders
Experience providing clinical supervision to therapists in the family/child serving human services system
Experience with and providing the High-Fidelity Wraparound Model and Intensive Care Coordination services
Demonstrated completion of training in the national model of High-Fidelity Wraparound as required for supervisors
Experience providing crisis intervention and risk management
Experience collaborating with other human services system service providers
Bilingual and multilingual candidates encouraged to apply
