Accounting Assistant
Revolution Technologies is seeking an Accounting Assistant to provide administrative and basic accounting support to the Investment Operations team. This role involves data entry, maintaining reports, and assisting with accounting documents and transactions.
Responsibilities
Assist with data entry as it relates to reconciling accounts
Maintain data integrity
Maintain / update reports using Microsoft Excel
Assists in preparing, reviewing, processing and maintaining accounting documents, records and files
Assists in coding and posting transactions to proper accounts in an automated accounting system
Assists in researching transaction discrepancies
Assists in gathering and compiling data for assigned functions
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
Entry level candidates with less than 3-4 years of work experience; ideally someone who recently graduated college and is looking to start their career
Candidates who do not have a degree, but may have some schooling and a year or two working in an office
Basic to intermediate Excel skills - ability to perform data entry into an Excel spreadsheet
Fluent user with Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of, and able to apply, mathematical concepts; comfortable with 'crunching numbers'
Willingness to learn and jump in whenever and wherever needed
High attention to detail
Analytical thinking skills
Self-motivated
Clear and professional written and oral communication skills
Professional
Minimum of a High School Diploma, or college degree with little to no accounting work experience
