Responsibilities

Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5s standards

Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures

Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity and decreasing downtime and waste

Assume active role in overall plant and facility related work. Position requires assisting all jobs on the plant floor

Perform housekeeping functions as required

Required

High School Graduate or GED

Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment

Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed

Must be willing to work all three shifts as needed

Must have a good attendance record

Must be authorized to work in the U.S

Must have a basic understanding to follow instructions in English

Demonstrated longevity of at least eight months in previous employment

Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds individually, walk, sit, stand, squat, and bend over repetitively and consistently, throughout your shift with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred

Experience in a packaging or manufacturing environment

Demonstrated longevity of at least one year in previous employment. Preference given to candidates with previous experience
