Responsibilities
Collect and interpret complex business logic and implement in the simplest, most elegant way possible, but at the same time keeping pace with project timelines
Extract and communicate actionable insights from data and identify field failure trends to support Reliability Engineers in driving product improvements
Perform Fleet Reliability analyses
Maintain, optimize, and develop ETL pipelines (in SQL and Python) and dashboards
Create visualizations using various tools such as Tableau, in-house dashboard platform, Matplotlib, etc
Implement new processes leveraging Splunk, Spark, Kubernetes, AWS
Continually expand the envelope of your data engineering and analysis skill set
Contribute to ongoing efforts for continuous improvement at Tesla, actively driving activities towards enhancing vehicle reliability, contributing to the continual optimization of Tesla's products and processes
Qualification
Required
Bachelors or higher in Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent evidence of exceptional ability
Broad technical background, with previous experience in problem solving
Demonstrated success in applying statistical methods in data analysis, especially if related to reliability
Evidence of having mastered a skill, or implemented it to great effect, in a short amount of time
Proficiency in programming language(s)
Proficiency in data visualization
Mastery in software tool(s)
Obsession in excellence
Strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders and interpersonal & communication skills are an absolute requirement
Preferred
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
