Responsibilities

Develop structural design solutions for large structural/mechanical systems

Provide FEA and hand-calcs for complex steel structures

Manage external design and fabrication partners through complete project lifecycle, and oversee equipment fabrication, assembly, installation, and testing & activation

Required

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in structural, civil, mechanical, or similar disciplines

10+ years experience with a strong background in design/analysis/construction of large and complex steel structural systems (i.e. launch vehicle GSE, aerospace tooling, oil/gas structures, movable structures, steel bridges and platforms, etc)

Experience in structural and mechanical analysis utilizing FEA tools (STAAD and ANSYS preferred)

Experience designing and analyzing bolted and welded connections
