Gunvor Group is one of the world’s largest independent commodities trading companies, and they are seeking a motivated EPA Compliance Intern to support its Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) compliance efforts. This role offers hands-on exposure to environmental regulations, internal controls, and regulatory reporting within a global commodities trading organization.

Responsibilities

Map EPA desk accountabilities and document EPA-related responsibilities across relevant desks and functions

Identify gaps in existing procedures and determine where updates or new procedures are required

Create an internal presentation explaining what the Role of the EPA Analyst is and why it is important to Gunvor’s business

Research and understand governing EPA regulations and their historical context, with a focus on onboarding support

Develop presentations outlining EPA regulations and reporting requirements related to specific products

Assist with structuring, maintaining, and improving EPA reporting workbooks and tracking tools
