Responsibilities
Perform all clerical functions and facilitate effective communication with inter/intradepartmental personnel to maintain an efficient, cost effective and organized nursing station
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide support services to patients with acute care needs
Performs clerical, receptionist duties and assists in daily operations of the unit under the guidance of the Lead Nurse
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
Appropriate communication and interpersonal skills
Courteous telephone skills, basic computer skills, satisfactory written and verbal communication
Time management and organizational skills
EPIC experience, Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook and Excel)
Preferred
Experience as a Receptionist, Secretary or Unit Clerk in a healthcare setting
