Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust Selenium WebDriver automation frameworks using Java

Architect and implement hybrid automation frameworks (POM, Data-Driven, BDD)

Write clean, reusable, and maintainable automation code following best practices

Develop and execute automated test suites for functional, regression, and smoke testing

Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Jenkins

Perform debugging, root cause analysis, and resolution of test failures and flaky tests

Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and product owners to improve test coverage and quality

Maintain test execution results and reports using test management tools

Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives

Required

Hands-on Test Automation experience

Strong proficiency in Java programming (beyond basic scripting)

Proven experience designing and developing Selenium WebDriver frameworks from scratch

Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD automation pipelines (Jenkins preferred)

Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile Scrum methodologies

Experience with API automation using Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools

Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Jira, ALM, Zephyr, or qTest

Preferred

Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (Sauce Labs, BrowserStack)

Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter

Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker)
