ESL Federal Credit Union is seeking a Student Consumer Lending Processor for Summer 2026. This position is accountable for verifying and processing consumer loans in accordance with established ESL loan policies, providing support to the Consumer Lending Team, and gaining practical experience in consumer lending products.

Responsibilities

Gain practical, hands-on learning experiences of all consumer lending products such as personal loans, auto loans and credit cards

Learn all aspects of Indirect lending program and dealer relations

Provide support to the Consumer Lending Underwriters, ESL’s front line resources and program auto dealers

Work in a fast paced, high volume environment preparing 50+ loan packets per day

Support departmental project work for new Loan Origination System

Provide support to the Consumer Lending Team by sorting mail, data entry and filing

Rotating assignment in each of the departments areas of concentration: Direct – working with consumers, Indirect – working with third parties

Required

Currently enrolled as an undergraduate in your sophomore or junior year

Ability to work independently and in team setting

PC proficient (Word, Excel)

Legal authorization to work in the US now and in the future without sponsorship
