National Key Account Manager – Retail

Responsibilities
Responsible for identifying and generating new business opportunities by cold calling and prospecting accounts in the retail vertical nationwide
Generates new business opportunities through researching the market, providing contacts, project opportunities and leads to the internal Sales team
Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and goals
Provides account management and drives opportunities for additional revenue while growing the account list
Works closely with the internal Sales support team to deliver an effective sales strategy that maximizes revenue and profits for WCCTV for the assigned LotGuard vertical
Achieves monthly, quarterly and annual sales headline (revenue and profit) goals and KPIs
Attends customer sales meetings booked directly or by the internal Sales support team. Fully explores each customer’s needs and product requirements and presents details on the most relevant WCCTV products and services that will support their needs
Prepares detailed and accurate quotes and RFPs for customers which maximize revenue and profit in every retail opportunity. Negotiates all sales orders on the best possible commercial terms to WCCTV
Collaborate with the retail Business Development Rep (inside sales) to aid in strategic prospecting of key targets and building of lead generation lists for growing accounts and expanding customer targets
In conjunction with the National Sales Manager LotGuard and the inside Sales support team, plan an effective sales strategy for the territory, execute plan and deliver the monthly sales activity and revenue targets
Ensures that weekly calendar is managed in the most time efficient manner
Collects and enters information gathered during any sales opportunity into the Company’s CRM system
Provides internal Sales management with accurate weekly pipeline of activity and sales forecast/opportunities
Provides additional data, sales and/or customer information to internal Sales management when requested
Attends regular marketing strategy meetings with Sales Management and the internal Marketing team to discuss marketing plans for the territory. Provides feedback to the internal Marketing team on effectiveness of all marketing campaigns and programs
Provides additional support for customers as required, for example incoming sales calls, technical support and customer service depending on office staffing levels
Passes on leads from other sales verticals to other internal Sales teams as and when appropriate
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline or equivalent along with 3 to 5 years of previous direct B2B commercial sales experience in the CCTV, access control, intrusion, electronics or related industry
Previous experience selling to end users through a consultative sales approach is required
Previous experience using CRM such as Salesforce required
An excellent communicator who can build, develop and maintain relationships with both new and existing customers and internal staff with ease
A proven ability to identify sales opportunities and leverage internal & external resources appropriately
Strong qualification skills are a must to be successful in this role along with a proven ability in meeting and exceeding sales targets
Excellent organization, time management, high attention to detail and planning skills are a must
Demonstrated ability to prepare complete and accurate quotes and proposals as well as sales orders is required
Ability to travel nationally up to 10%
