The FaceTime Foundation team is a collaborative group of engineers looking for a motivated teammate who wants to build products that change our customers' lives
What you build will enable people to connect with loved ones, colleagues, and communities around the world

You'll work with teams across Apple and contribute to features used by millions
Qualification
Required
Solid software development and system design skills with a track record of shipping quality code
Proficiency in object-oriented programming with Swift or Objective-C
Clear communication and collaboration skills; you can explain complex ideas and work effectively across teams
Self-directed problem-solving abilities; you can dig into ambiguous problems and find a path forward
Preferred
Experience building frameworks and daemons for an operating system
Experience creating and refining APIs intended for adoption by other teams and developers
Familiarity with peer-to-peer or client-server architecture and network protocols
Experience with secure communication protocols, particularly handling untrusted data
Interest in real-time media, accessibility, or privacy-focused design
