Lead, Business Development
Fisica, Inc. is a premier manufacturer of advanced defense products, specializing in airborne and ground-based antennas and electromagnetic systems. The Business Development Lead will oversee sales in various areas, including Nuclear Weapons Effects test equipment and Commercial Electron Beam sterilization equipment, while ensuring adherence to corporate ethics and compliance.

Responsibilities
Meet Business Development objectives for orders and pursuit development
Create Business Development strategies to meet division AOP and Strategic Growth Plans
Collaborate with operations, finance, program management and engineering to ensure early program involvement for the successful production of proposals and booking the order
Strict adherence to corporate ethics, internal controls, and ensure government compliance
Contribute to the management of division marketing budgets
25-50% travel to conferences and to customer sites and represent the Fisica ATI product line
Marketing and sales of the Ebeam sterilization product line with technical support including; basic designs of RF accelerator based sterilization processing systems, potential upgrades to their systems and to lead efforts with finding new applications of this type of sterilization technology
Marketing and sales of pulsed power systems utilized by Government and commercial labs for EMP and Nuclear Weapons Effects testing
Marketing and sales of the flash X-Ray imaging product line to commercial and US Government customers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in physics, electrical engineering, or related field, and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience with high pulse power systems
Minimum of 5 years related business development experience
Proven ability to build and develop relationships cross-functionally
Displays high degree of ethics/integrity
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
Prior business development experience in a government contracting environment
Knowledge of defense and governmental budgets, how they are established and managed
Must have the ability to obtain a future Security Clearance is required for the role. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Enjoys working with people and identifying partnerships and collaborations
Experience with testing product-market-fit hypotheses quickly
Experience with the product development life cycle
Ability to collaborate with team to respond to customer requirements and Requests for Proposals
Experience and familiarity with pulsed power systems, high voltage (HV) equipment, and other closely related fields
Experience in commercial RF accelerators for medical or sterilization applications
Effective communication in oral and written technical English in various mediums; proposal management and technical volumes, white papers and power point presentations
Capable of working with potential government customers to develop other applications of this type of system military field and equipment decontamination
