Responsibilities
Serves as Director of Development within the Advancement Division and the University Development Team (UDT)
Qualifies, cultivates, solicits and stewards philanthropic major gifts ($50k+) from assigned Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business alumni and friends
Manages a dynamic portfolio of prospects/donors who have the capacity to make a philanthropic major gift of $50,000 or more
Qualifies, cultivates, solicits and stewards gifts from Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business alumni and friends through a combination of in-person and virtual donor visits and making major gift solicitations
Executes strategic cultivation and solicitation plans tailored to individual donors' interests, capacity and philanthropic priorities
Raises a minimum of $2,000,000 on an annual basis with the goals for subsequent years determined in conjunction with the Senior Director
Executes collaboration efforts across all areas of Advancement to maximize fundraising effectiveness
Articulates Clemson and the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business' mission and vision to inspire constituents and forge strategic partnerships and investments within your donor portfolio
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
3+ Years Related Experience in Alumni Engagement, Fundraising, Business Development, Sales, Journalism or Communications
Preferred
3-5 Years in front line fundraising experience with demonstrated ability to close six-figure gifts
