Responsibilities
Design, integrate, and support physical security systems including cameras, infrared detection, sensors, and access control technologies
Develop and support physical protection system architectures for secure and regulated facilities
Interface security systems with plant computer systems and control networks to ensure reliable monitoring and response
Support system upgrades, modernization efforts, and troubleshooting of integrated security and I&C components
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and cybersecurity teams to ensure system functionality, reliability, and compliance
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience supporting physical security or protection systems in regulated or critical environments
Experience with instrumentation and controls concepts applied to security systems
Understanding of physical security network engineering and system integration
Ability to support design documentation, system testing, and field implementation activities
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Clear communication skills and the ability to work across multidisciplinary technical teams
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
Background in nuclear security, physical protection systems, or secure industrial facilities
