3+ years expHF Sinclair El Dorado Refining LLC is seeking an E & I Instrument Tech. The position conducts maintenance and repairs on all instrumentation equipment in the refinery, ensuring control systems operate properly and responding to emergency situations.

Responsibilities
Provides maintenance, installation and repairs of all control systems in a fuels refinery
Ensures control systems and analyzers are operating properly
Responds to upsets and abnormal operating instances
Ensures operations and safety procedures are followed at all times
Responds to emergency situations
Qualification
Required
A minimum of three years of related work experience is required
A minimum of a High School Diploma is required and completion of a formal program in Instrumentation or control systems
Knowledge on repairs of Industrial Electrical and Control systems and equipment
Relevant experience in the repair and maintenance of motor controls, electrical distribution equipment, pressure, level, temperature, flow, and other industrial instrumentation
The ability to read layout schematic, installation, and other technical/maintenance manuals
Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate through craft assessment tests, interviews, and practical tests his/her knowledge, skill, and ability in the Instrumentation field
Able to work in adverse weather conditions
Must be available to work a flexible schedule (e.g. overtime, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts)
Job conditions may require standing, walking, sitting, twisting, stooping, crouching, kneeling, talking or hearing, making visual inspections, making precise hand and finger movements, reaching or grasping, lifting and/or carrying up to 50lbs, pushing and/or pulling up to 50lbs, climbing over 100ft
Ability to operate and drive all assigned company vehicles at company standard insurance rates is essential
Valid state drivers license and proof of insurance required
Wearing personal protective equipment (beards not permitted) and strenuous physical activity
