Responsibilities
Oversee full-cycle payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of employee pay
Address payroll questions and discrepancies with professionalism and discretion
Maintain and reconcile employee data across HR and payroll systems, performing routine audits to ensure accuracy and confidentiality
Coordinate annual compensation processes, including base pay adjustments and incentive payouts
Support compensation analysis and benchmarking to assess internal alignment and market positioning
Produce recurring and ad hoc reporting on compensation trends, turnover, and workforce metrics for internal stakeholders
Administer employee benefit programs throughout the year, including enrollment activity and qualifying life events
Coordinate payroll deductions and vendor data to ensure consistency across systems
Support compliance activities related to benefit plans and retirement programs, including audits and regulatory reporting
Qualification
Required
5–10 years of experience in payroll, HR operations, compensation, and benefits administration
Proven experience working with modern HRIS platforms; Workday experience required
Payroll system experience strongly preferred; ADP exposure is a plus
Professional certifications in payroll, HR, or benefits are advantageous
Experience supporting compensation structures in complex or regulated environments preferred
Industry experience within financial services, investment management, or similarly structured organizations is beneficial but not required
