Handle the preparation and analysis of financial statements
Oversee journal entries
Perform day-to-day accounting tasks
Contribute to financial planning and analysis
Support budgeting and reconciliation processes
Ensure compliance with accounting standards
Collaborate with other teams to support business operations
Provide actionable insights based on financial data
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements
Strong Analytical Skills for problem-solving and data interpretation
Experience in Journal Entries and other core accounting functions
Knowledge of fundamental principles of Finance and Accounting
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Experience with state, federal and local tax returns
Familiarity with Tier 2 ERP systems like Sage, MS Dynamics, or Net Suite
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus but not required
Experience in the manufacturing or distribution industries is preferred
Experience working with external CPAs is highly preferred
