Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and hourly team members to achieve company objectives
Promote a positive, collaborative, and safety-driven work culture
Conduct regular performance reviews and identify training needs to support employee growth
Ensure adequate staffing levels, effective shift coverage, and compliance with labor policies
Plan, organize, and manage all production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly output targets
Coordinate with planning, maintenance, and logistics to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders
Monitor production efficiency, scrap, rework, and downtime, implementing corrective actions as needed
Oversee setup, changeover, and operation of manufacturing lines to ensure optimal performance
Support the introduction of new products or processes, ensuring smooth hand-off from engineering to production
Maintain compliance with all safety regulations and company EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) programs
Ensure production processes meet quality and customer specifications
Partner with Quality to drive root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Conduct regular safety audits and enforce proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives across all production areas
Identify and implement opportunities to reduce costs, improve throughput, and eliminate waste
Analyze production metrics and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management
Support capital projects, process automation, and equipment upgrades
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and HR to ensure production readiness
Participate in daily operations meetings and long-term strategic planning sessions
Manage production budgets, labor utilization, and overtime costs effectively
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field required
7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role
Strong leadership and team-building abilities
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, production scheduling, and KPI tracking
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred
MBA or equivalent experience preferred
Experience in HVAC, heat exchanger, or industrial equipment manufacturing strongly preferred
