Experimental Quantum Internship Program and Training (EQuIPT)
Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education is a national Quantum Information Science Research Center, seeking undergraduate students for their Experimental Quantum Internship Program and Training (EQuIPT). This 10-week, full-time internship offers hands-on training in quantum hardware prototyping, device fabrication, and data analysis while working alongside researchers and industry partners.

Responsibilities
Learn and gain experience engaging with LQC researchers, industry partners, and graduate students to co-design experiments, fabricate and test quantum components, and contribute to real-time problem-solving
Expand your knowledge with hands-on experience in areas including, but not limited to quantum hardware prototyping, device fabrication, coherent control, and data analysis
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen
Applicants must be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree at a U.S. accredited degree granting college or university within the U.S. and its territories, with an anticipated graduation date of May 2026 or later
The selected candidate must be able to pass a background review and be approved for access to LPS facilities
Preferred
Preferred majors: Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science
