Responsibilities
Support month-end and year-end close activities across multiple business units
Prepare and review account reconciliations (balance sheet and selected P&L accounts)
Work cross-functionally with operations teams, including shipping and receiving, on cycle counts and inventory-related issues
Assist site Controllers and the Controller with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and cleanup projects as the shared services team transitions out
Ensure accounting processes align with US GAAP and company policy
Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve accounting workflows during the block integration
Provide reliable, senior-level support requiring minimal supervision
Qualification
Required
5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience; prior Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager experience in a mid-sized or large corporate environment strongly preferred
Strong independent working ability-minimal hand-holding, able to 'hit the ground running.'
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate professionally across functions
Solid understanding of US GAAP and strong reconciliation skills
Ability to handle a high-volume, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Preferred
CPA or CMA strongly preferred
Experience with Epicor ERP
Multi-entity or multi-site accounting experience
Prior experience supporting companies undergoing integration, restructuring, or shared-services transitions
